Adapting Technical Days to a changing world
The Wienie-Pak Product Team has introduced Virtual Technical Days to make technical knowledge sharing more accessible. Traditionally held as in-person events every three years, the format has evolved to reflect changing global conditions and new ways of working.

Accessible, practical knowledge sharing
The first Virtual Technical Day took place in October 2025 and has since been followed by several successful online sessions for technical and sales colleagues across the ViskoTeepak organization. Additional introductory sessions for operations teams are planned, with the option to extend participation to partners.

Participants highlight the value of the format and content.

“It was exactly the kind of deep dive we needed,”

says Colin Neill, noting that the sessions provided practical knowledge that will directly support customers.

Structured training with real-world relevance
The training is divided into three blocks, covering market and machinery overviews, technical deep dives based on Innovation Centre testing, and case studies with a strong focus on troubleshooting and real-life applications.

The sessions also reinforce collaboration across regions.

“It was good to see the team directly on screen and use the time for valuable discussions,”

says Willy Böhme, adding that the sessions served as a strong reminder of proven Wienie-Pak benefits and teamwork.

Looking ahead
The Virtual Technical Days are designed as an ongoing initiative, with additional sessions planned for 2026. The next training is already in preparation and will focus on cooking and peeling processes, continuing to strengthen shared expertise across the Wienie-Pak portfolio.
