When loops production began at TNI in 2019, six new machines were installed—but the real challenge was learning an entirely new production process. Our teams had to understand new materials, unfamiliar mechanisms and technology requiring a high level of precision.
That knowledge has grown steadily, and so has production.
The journey so far:
- Loops production launched in 2019 with six machines.
- Initial output was approximately three million loops per month.
- Production has since increased to approximately seven million loops per month.
- New equipment and upgrades are now taking the operation into its next stage.
The investment introduced in September 2026 will provide greater automation, improved process control and simpler interaction between operators and machinery. It will also support more standardized production, helping our teams work with greater consistency and efficiency.
Loops are primarily used for rotisserie chicken and turkey, but they can also support pork products, hams and other applications requiring a reliable tying solution. Greater capacity and stronger process control provide a foundation for serving these established applications while exploring new possibilities with customers.
The progress achieved since 2019 has not been driven by technology alone. It reflects the skills, persistence and collaboration of the operations and maintenance teams that have learned, adapted and solved challenges together.
