Wienie-Pak has introduced a new bundle concept that marks the next step in optimizing packaging and transport efficiency. By reshaping the bundle, we can now pack more strands and meters into the same carton and pallet dimensions. On average, this means 16% more material per carton without increasing transport volume — a significant saving, especially for overseas markets.
Beyond cost savings, the new concept delivers a wide range of benefits for customers and partners. It reduces warehouse space requirements (6 pallets instead of 7 for the same volume), lowers workload for shirring and stuffing operators, and cuts down on packaging materials such as cartons, pallets, and foils. The new bundle also improves carton stability, increases efficiency at every stage with more meters per bundle, and enhances the customer experience with an attractive, easy-to-handle format that supports direct stacking on stuffing machines.
The first production machine is already in operation, with validation currently ongoing in Europe. Once complete, the solution will be rolled out internationally, starting with the Americas where the cost-saving potential is greatest.
