When Jana Kirchner joined ViskoTeepak Germany in 2016, her journey started with an unusual interview question: “Do you eat meat?” More than ten years later, a lot has changed—from her responsibilities to the challenges she has taken on—but teamwork and finding better ways of working have remained at the heart of her journey.
Today, as Coordinator for Fibrous Converting Europe & Hamburg Supply, Jana works across sites to improve planning and flow, balance capacity and resources, and step in when extra support is needed. For her, making things work is always a team effort.

Her journey has taken her beyond Hamburg, from supporting Fibrous reels planning in Lommel to helping Delfzijl through a challenging period. Along the way, Jana has continued to look for practical improvements while expanding her own knowledge and responsibilities.
And despite the complexity that comes with coordinating activities across different locations, she hasn't lost sight of another important ingredient.
“Fun is like health—I need both to be happy.”
