Fibrous casings are known for their strength, stability, and versatility. Through tailor-making and converting options such as pre-sticking, the casing can be adapted to the product, process, and desired result.

Pre-sticking uses controlled micro-perforations to support air release during filling, helping reduce the risk of air pockets and visible product defects. At the same time, it improves the contact between meat and casing, contributing to better adhesion and product integrity.

During smoking and drying, controlled permeability supports moisture and smoke transfer while helping manage internal pressure. The result is a more stable process with reduced risk of bursting, improved process consistency, and a more predictable final shape.

Available in different levels depending on the application, pre-sticking is one example of how small adjustments in casing design can create measurable value in production.
