Nova HM
Nova HM casing is a multi-layer, oriented casing. It has a higher shrinkage than Nova X or Nova L, giving your product a smooth surface without wrinkles or purge, as well as neat corners and perfect ends. Nova HM is designed for products with a shape other than round, like square-shaped hams.
Nova HM can be used for products that use the casing as the consumer package, as well as for products that will be peeled and sliced at the producer. The multi-layer construction gives the product an extended shelf life, allowing it to be shipped in the casing to customers who want to peel, slice and repack the end product in consumer packaging. Nova HM casing is intended to be used for cooked products that do not require smoking or drying.
