Wienie-Pak®

WieniePak.jpgReliable processing with customized casing properties

Wienie-Pak® is a shirred non-edible cellulose casing used for the processing of various kinds of frankfurters, hot dogs and similar skinless sausages.

The consistent shape and diameter of a Wienie-Pak® casing ensure uniform sausage length and weight. The casing is also permeable to smoke and steam, enabling the manufacturing of high quality end products with tender yet snappy bite.

Excellent stuffing stability at any speed

Wienie-Pak® is available in all popular sizes and strand lengths, shirred ready for stuffing using either manual stuffers or automatic high-speed machines.

Wienie-Pak® CE (closed end) is especially suitable for use on high-speed stuffing equipment, while the OE (open-ended) variant serves manual stuffing. Wienie-Pak® casings can be used on any type of stuffer and can be stuffed straight or linked on portioning and twist linking devices.

Rapid Peel® for superior peelability

The casing is usually peeled off after the smoking and cooking cycles. For enhanced ease of peeling and high performance in automated peeling, Wienie-Pak® is also available with a special inner coating called Rapid Peel®.

This coating is designed to aid in the release of the product from the casing during peeling and can be supplied in all regular sizes and lengths. The Wienie-Pak® cellulose casings are biodegradable, ensuring an environmentally friendly disposal after peeling.

As you like it

Wienie-Pak® can be supplied in clear or coloured versions. The casing can be supplied with integral stripes to differentiate the product during processing. It can also be printed with customer logos to highlight your personal brand name.
